I feel I bring a unique perspective to this industry because my professional history is a rather sorted tale. Software development is actually my third career. I went to film school in southern California. Hey what else do you do in So Cal? I worked as a production assistant and then as a first assistant cameraman for a number of years. I gave it up and moved to New York and became dog trainer. I trained a bunch of dogs. I wrote a book and moved on to software development.
I am self taught. I've had three days of formal training and that was on the PowerBuilder Foundation Classes back in 1998. For me its all about a good book and tinkering, particularly when the tech is so new that there is no good book. I've worked for small, medium and mega corporations. I have consulted at major pharmacueticals, biotech and investment banking companies.
Today I work for
ASPSOFT in Orlando, FL. This is the best company I've ever worked for and the best company you can hire for your software development needs.
